Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain staff rosters, ensuring optimal coverage aligned with client needs
- Handle rostering adjustments, including shift swaps, absence coverage, and last-minute changes
- Liaise with team leaders and support workers to coordinate staffing based on availability and client requirements
- May be required to assist with intake phone calls and collaborate with the intake team to develop or adjust support plans, leveraging in-depth knowledge of rosters.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry standards (NDIS), and employment regulations
- Provide training to new staff on rostering systems, procedures, and expectations
- Collaborate with the recruitment team for onboarding and the payroll team for accurate timesheet processing
- Develop contingency plans for emergency roster changes and ensure continuity of services
Skills & Qualifications
- Cert III or IV in Business Administration or relevant field (highly desirable)
- Experience in administrative roles with a focus on rostering and scheduling (essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing demands
- Proficiency in rostering software and IT systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Understanding of the disability sector and relevant regulations (NDIS) (essential)
- Experience in customer service roles working with diverse populations (essential)

Key Responsibilities
- Disability Support: Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to the unique needs of clients.
- Daily Living Assistance: Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks.
- Sleepover Shifts: Availability to provide 3 sleepover shifts per fortnight, ensuring continuity of care and support during overnight hours.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook nutritious meals, assisting clients in maintaining a healthy diet.
- Household Support: Support with cleaning, tidying, and maintaining a safe and organised home environment.
- Community Access: Facilitate outings and appointments, supporting clients in engaging with their local community.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and reassurance, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and report any changes in client health, behaviour, or needs to the appropriate professionals.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Mandatory Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or a related field (essential).
- National Police Check (Issued Within the Last 90 Days)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working with Children Check.
- Current and valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Manual Handling and Infection Control Training.
- Full legal working rights in Australia.
